This is a wonderful backpack for small dogs. My Pomeranian weighs seven pounds and it is the perfect size for him. You can secure it in the car by placing the seatbelt through the loops provided in the back. It is lightweight and durable. I take my dog hiking every weekend and carry it. My Pom walks some and rides some.
Terrible bag...unless your dog is super small!!

I bought this bag and thought my 12 pound dog would be a perfect fit, I was so disappointed when he would only fit in sideways! I had to send it back for a return....I bought a great bag from chimpfeet.com that my dog loves so we will just have to stick with that one!!
